Positive Attitude

      Day 3 again begins with a hearty and tasty breakfast before spending the day at the pond at Salem Camp DARE.  The morning hours are spent attempting to catch an elusive trout. The campers rejoin their teammates and compete against each other in the D.A.R.E. Olympics. The afternoon is spent at the Virginia Safari Park.

Fishing

   The challenge of luring and catching a rainbow trout awaits each camper.

Safari Park

 A trip to the Virginia Safari Park introduces our campers to a wide variety of wild life.  A petting zoo is also located in the park where the campers can interact with the wildlife by feeding and petting the park's inhabitants.

          D.A.R.E. Lesson

    The D.A.R.E. Lessons are created to compliment the    D.A.R.E. Courses used in the schools.

First Aid

    The Salem Rescue Squad members demonstrate first aid techniques and the rescue vehicle.
