      Day 2 begins early with a hearty breakfast and chores.  The teams alternate activities during the day.  Day two's activities are horseback riding, lawn games, swimming, and a picnic lunch.

 

 

 

 

   

 

Horseback Riding

   Each camper is afforded an opportunity to experience riding along the foothills of the Peaks Of Otter.

  Campers can cool down on a hot summers' day with a refreshing swim in a mountain-side pool. When not swimming campers can enjoy a game of sidewalk checkers or tic-tac-toe. At noon campers take a well deserved break, sit in the shade and eat lunch in the shadows of the Peaks of Otter.

 

 

 

 

D.A.R.E. Lesson

   The D.A.R.E. Lessons are created to compliment the D.A.R.E. Guest Speaker

    Day two has a guest speaker who speaks to the campers about overcoming adversity and the challenges of life.

         

 

Campfire

  The end of the day is spent around a campfire, eating smores and hearing the legends of Salem Camp DARE.
