MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Salem Police Department is
to protect the life, individual liberty and property of all people within
the City of Salem: to affirmatively create a feeling of safety and security
by which persons may pursue happiness and contentment within the City of
Salem: to promote a positive and productive work environment for employees
of the department.
